of health-resorts and multifunctional sports enters; the future plans include the modernization of the historic Vytautas Hill and park that will be adapted for recreation and tourism, as well as the cleaning of

the Nemunas for the development of navigation, the construction of an observation tower, the accommodation of skiing slopes for summer recreation, etc. This year, those projects will be funded with municipality means, form the state budget, the EU support funds, as well as with private investments.
